Technology City: A Harmonious Fusion of Art and Innovation

Wenfei Wang's Masterpiece: The Central China Real Estate Sales Center

The Central China Real Estate project aims to create a unique sales center that embodies art, fashion, science, and technology. The design is intended to fit the innovative thinking mode of a smart community, paying tribute to the city's strivers with a six-star good house. The designers have integrated the idea of harmonious building and interior framework throughout the project, setting the overall tone with innovative concepts.

The space's calm and composed atmosphere is achieved through the use of textured gray, complemented by the mysterious allure of black. The dynamic temperament of the space is brought to life through the interplay of light and shadow, creating a miniature representation of contemporary science and technology in residential life. The geometric combination picture on the deep-colored wood wall adds a bright decorative effect, and the combination of different color pieces and materials collide to create an artistic spark.

The project covers a total of 2000 square meters and is located in Luoyang. The design process began in February 2019 and was completed in October of the same year. The design team, led by Wenfei Wang, includes Yan Cai, He Zhao, Xiangdong Li, and Yuying Li. The team faced the challenge of breaking away from the conventional sales center design, reflecting the brand concept and operation thinking of developers, and integrating local culture and characteristics.

The design's unique interaction is evident in the gray transition area between the sand table reception area and the sample room. A group of transparent hanging chairs and rotating chairs not only meet the aesthetic feeling but also have practical functions for a short rest. The top surface is made of stainless steel mirror material, creating a perfect combination between the real object and the mirror image.

The design was awarded Silver in A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2020. The award is given to top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that illustrate outstanding expertise and innovation. These designs, admired for their strong technical characteristics and splendid artistic skill, showcase a remarkable level of excellence and introduce positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.
